Use Of HDPE Pipe For Pipe Rehabilitation

A major problem which the utility management bodies in major cities around the world face from time to time is its rehabilitation because-

• Ageing pipe lines develop leakages, something which is of environmental, public health and of economic concern.
• Methods involving large excavations and trenching to repair aging pipe lines are not practical, particularly in urban areas.
• Excavation and trenching will potentially result in damage to roads and infrastructure, traffic hold ups, environmental pollution, and incur huge expenditure.

So to overcome all above issues, following methods are employed to repair or replace the existing aging pipe line. The existing aging pipe line material could be, metal, cement concrete, plastic etc.
